About This Blog

This blog is dedicated to exploring Jewish head-covering from a variety of perspectives, including both the traditional and the liberal.  Although my own current practice generally looks quite traditional, I also write about my previous experiences wearing a kippah.  I write about both women's and men's head covering.

Expect regular posts about head-covering in Jewish texts and halakha, head covering style, and personal experience, including guest posts.   (Contact me if you are interested in sharing a guest post.)   There will also be a sprinkling of craft and DIY posts, along with tutorials for head covering style/tichel tying.  I'm particularly excited to be sharing posts about the ways that Jews have covered their heads around the world, and across history.  You can find these posts tagged with the term "historical head covering".

Please also contact me with questions or topics on the subject that you'd like to read about, at mkosowsky@gmail.com.

Conversation about this blog can also be found on our community page at facebook.  I also have more related images up on pinterest.

    1. This is a blog, not an advertising space. If you have content to add, that a product illustrates, that's one thing. But using my space to place random advertisements is not something that I appreciate. I am leaving this one so that I can leave the response. If this continues, I will remove them.

I've seen your products- they're lovely, if outside my budget. But your company sinking to doing this sort of advertising makes me think much less of the company, and I am less likely to buy your products at a point when I can afford to.

    1. Hi Jackie! I'm so glad that you're enjoying my blog. I don't have email updates, but I do have a facebook page that I usually (although not always, I admit) update when I have put up a new post. If you look for How To Cover on facebook, that should bring it up. Is that helpful at all?
