I had a dream last night where I kept either discovering that my hair was down and my head was completely uncovered, or that my hair had somehow escaped my scarf. On the other hand, when I realized it, there was a scarf that matched my outfit (or so I thought in the dream) sitting on a bush right next to me, just waiting for me to put it on. The rest of the dream was a funny mix of anxiety and utter randomness (involving a car that drives itself, a trip to a university to look at its dorms where we mostly looked at their bathrooms/changing rooms, and a very flexible cast of characters).
I don't think that I've ever dreamed about my head coverings before. Has this happened to anyone else?
Yes, I have. Too bad you didn't ask me yesterday, because I forgot the dream already. It's happened to me, not too many times, but a few.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I'm not the only one. I wonder if it's a variation on the "showing up to work/school naked" classic (which I don't think I've ever had, actually), or something else...
DeleteI have had lots of nightmares about realizing I was someplace without a hair covering, not being able to find a hair covering, someone trying to remove my hair covering etc etc. Definitely the equivalent to the whole "showing up to school naked" dream (though I never had one of those. I also had a nightmare about going to my closet and only being able to find mini skirts and pants :P
